Us
I have enjoyed
taking pictures and started running and competing in other races
from 5K, the muddy buddy series and now a triathlon. Recently
my kids have also gained interest in competing in the athletic
events in addition to other sports. One thing all of these events
have in common is people taking pictures of their family and vendors
selling digital photographs for what seem to be high prices. I
believe that by investing a little time and some money and using
the internet that we can work together to share these photographs
to others taking pictures of their friends and family at these
events.
If you have
any photos from any race, sporting event excluding any professional
sporting events we will post them and distribute them to the interested
recipient. We provide you with a link to upload a zipped file
containing all of your photos or if it’s easier for you
can send a CD via US postal service to mail your photos to the
address listed below. Once we receive the photos we will unzip
them and create thumbnails and post them to the site under the
state and event name. The filename will be the title of each photo
so if the photographer wants to name the files by bib number that
can make it easier for some to find.
I have started
the site as a hobby and look for support for other through volunteers
donating photos for posting, donating money to cover expenses
and a portion will be shared with the photographer of the event
if they do not want their proceeds that portion will be donated
to a charity. If anyone wants to edit the wording I’m always
open to suggestions. If anyone want to advertise their business
with us please email us using the contact us webpage.
How to get your photos
Browse the
site looking for your pictures. When you find the pictures you
like you can right click on the largest photo you see and save
it to your hard drive. If you would like higher resolution photographs
please submit the request photos form on our contact us page filling
out the form including the filenames of all the pictures you would
like. Make sure our email will be accepted through your SPAM filter.
If you request more then two photographs they will arrive in a
zip file. If your email system does not accept zip files let us
know and we will rename the zip file to a .txt file. You will
need to rename it back to .zip before extracting your photos.

you wonder why we use a contact us form for communications it
will hopefully reduce the amount of SPAM we receive to ensure
your receive your photos in a timely manner.
